Wine Producers & Vendors

Accreditation Stages

1. Initial

  • Overview of Vinsafe including R&D, Know How, Patents, experience with wine in a can etc.
  • Confidentiality agreement between Barokes and wine producer/vendor to be signed.

2. Contract Agreement

  • Wine Producer & Vendor Licence to be signed between both parties.
  • Access to Vinsafe Wine roduction Guidelines.

3. Discussion

  • Wine varieties intended to be canned.
  • Minimum can/case run per sku.
  • Artwork requirements for can, wrap and carton.
  • Wine specifications required for Vinsafe.

4. Commercialisation

  • Review of wine(s) to be canned with supporting wine documentation (ie Certificate of Analysis & LIP) to ensure that wine parameters are within Vinsafe specifications and wine is suitable for canning.
  • Master of Wine review of wines for Vinsafe.
  • Winery introduced to Vinsafe approved filling facility that will co-ordinate can production and filling schedule.

5. Operational

  • Account manager appointed by winery/wine vendor as contact point.
  • Vinsafe contact person appointed.
  • Supply of ongoing Technical Assistance.
  • Supply of relevant training for staff.
  • Supply of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Supply of Vinsafe Quality (Assurance/Control) Manual
  • Access to wine in a can patented markets
  • Access to Vinsafe marketing strategy
