Accreditation Stages
1. Initial
- Overview of can manufacturing facility to determine experience in production of cans/can bottles for wine or wine products.
- Overview of Vinsafe including R&D, Know How, Patents, experience with wine in a can etc.
- Establish line specifications currently being used, eg, appropriate slim line production process, detailed plant site map, facility map and details of equipment of can line.
- Confidentiality agreement between Barokes and interested company to be signed.
- Discuss specifications required for Vinsafe.
- Plant tour and meeting Plant management and staff.
2. Contract Agreement
- Technology Licence and Manufacturing Agreement to be signed between both parties.
- Access to Vinsafe Can Manufacturing Guidelines.
3. Audit/Review
- Audit of plant (HACCP, BRC, ISO Global Standard or equivalent quality accreditation).
- Supply of latest quality accreditation or equivalent documents.
- Vinsafe technical requirements.
- Evaluation and possible capital expenditure requirements.
4. Commercialisation
- Minimum can runs per varietal/SKU to be established.
- Customers (wine producers/vendors) placed in contact with Vinsafe suppliers.
5. Operational
- Account manager appointed by can manufacturer as contact point.
- Vinsafe contact person appointed.
- Supply of ongoing Technical Assistance.
- Supply of Vinsafe Manufacturing Guidelines.
- Supply of Vinsafe Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Supply of Vinsafe Quality (Assurance/Control) Manual
